Carl Scholfield, sujet Britannique demeurant la France depuis 1991 est un photographe passionné et autodidacte. Les sujets qui l'intéresse sont dans la nature et passe souvent inaperçu aux yeux de la plupart. Des couleurs intenses, des images de paysages intimes capturées souvent à la hatte lorsque la lumière se pose pour un court instant. Il est aussi l'un de ces dinausores qui s'obstinent a photographier en argentique, utilisant des appareils Nikon en 35mm ou Mamiya en moyen format, toujours avec Fujichrome qu'il developpe dans son propre studio.

Carl Scholfield, an Englishman living in France since 1991, is self taught and has a passion for photography. The subjects that interest him are in nature and often pass unseen by others. Intense colours, and images of intimate landscape often taken in haste, when the light brings them to life. He is also one of those dinosaurs who insists on using film rather than digital, with Nikon for 35mm and Mamiya for medium format, and always with Fuji slide film which he develops himself.
